Our company is a family-run business which produces cut flowers in Italy, in the \u201cRiviera dei fiori\u201d, precisely in Sanremo. Historically this production area has always been the equivalent of great quality and specialisation on behalf of the cultivators who, as flower artisans, still pack bouquets as in the past, choosing them one by one; but how is this task carried out?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the Ranunculus and Anemones have been cut, you move onto the packaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This stage is very important because before being placed on the market, the Ranunculus must respect the standards of quality and maintain decorative features for an adequate period after the sale. This happens when the manufacturing process goes forward rapidly and preserving agents are used between the picking and the consignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another critical point is then the choice in order to establish the product category of the flowers. There are guidelines acknowledged by the market to choose the flowers and allocate them to an \u201cextra\u201d, \u201cfirst\u201d or \u201csecond\u201d class. It isn\u2019t a simple task though: the requisites for the selection and the packaging must concern in order of relevance, the size of the corolla, the colour, the stiffness, the length of the stem and the maturity of the flower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been using objective methods for years based on the size of the packaging bag and the largeness of the buckets to judge the flowers; we try in this way to maintain a constant standard from October to May and always offer the same products throughout the entire season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe this to be a very important factor to guarantee a product which always remains consistent for our customers; in an increasingly fast-paced market and last minute orders, as often happens, our will is to leave no room for uncertainties regarding quality but always consign the same products and that they are as fresh as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
