The beauty of slowness

Why do we choose not to industrialize our Ranunculus production?

Growing flowers on the Riviera has been our main activity for generations, and like every other company in the field, our main target is to do it as best possible.

In an era where everything moves so rapidly and the watchword is “optimization,” we have chosen a different path: the one of non-industrialization.

We decided to remain faithful to the artisan roots of floriculture, just like our parents, Teresa and Vincenzo, the founders of our company, did.

It’s a conscious choice, sometimes against the grain, but deeply rooted in our idea of quality and authenticity.

Cultivating “the old-fashioned way” does not mean standing still in time but rather preserving precious knowledge.

The actions we repeat every day, such as manually selecting bulbs, paying attention to soil temperature, and watering are the product of a tradition that conveys to us respect and balance.

Each Ranunculus that grows in our greenhouses is the result of a living relationship with the earth, not an automated process.

This choice inevitably leads to a slower and smaller production, but this precise slowness allows us to be more accurate and flexible in responding to our customers’ needs.

Each order and every special request, from the color of a variety to the ideal cutting moment, is handled with care and dedication.

We’re not a production line, we’re people who love their job and know every single plant as if it were unique.

For us, non-industrialization is also a way to preserve the identity of the territory.

The hands that work in our fields are often the same ones that have inherited this craft for generations.

In the stories told by grandparents, in the actions learned as children, there is the memory of an authentic Italian agriculture, made of sacrifice but also of pride.

Continuing this path means maintaining the rural culture alive that has made our floriculture tradition so immense.

Choosing craftsmanship, artisan precision, and respecting natural rhythm is not just a matter of romanticism: it’s a production philosophy.

In a world that often confuses quantity with quality, we believe that true excellence comes from time, attention to detail, and a love for what we do.
And perhaps, precisely for this reason, each of our Ranunculus brings  something special with itself: the beauty of slowness, the care of expert hands, and the scent of our origins.
